The long awaited Google Android “Nexus One” announcement wrapped up today and just in case you missed it we got the low down on what went down this afternoon at Mountain View.

- No thicker than a number two pencil, no heavier than a Swiss army knife

- Active noise suppression – one on the bottom and another on the back for noise reduction
- custom engraving for two-line

- Background sync with Picasa web
- Voice-searching for direction

- www.google.com/phone is now live
- coming to the Verizon this Spring
- Vodafone will be getting it later this year
