ThickButtons – Nexus One Keyboard Alternative

by The One on March 23, 2010

ThickButtons is a keyboard alternative with a very cool concept, as you type the app anticipates your word and makes the letters you’re likely to use bigger and the ones you wouldn’t smaller. Although I didn’t notice any speed improvements I did notice my accuracy has improved quite a bit. The app is free so give it a try on your Nexus One.

I tried it and at first thought it was helping, but after typing at my normal speed again I realize the enlargement made me catch the wrong letters; thus slowed me down.

I’d say it’s great for slow typers who look at the letters constantly. If you are thumbs qwerty king, or queen, may not be for you.

This app reads your text messages, contact data and user defined dictionary. Why?
